After the great success of the first edition, with more than 1,300 entries from 70 countries, the registrations for the 2018 edition of the Fabrique International Awards are now open, the award that Fabrique du Cinéma promotes as recognition of creativity and experimentation, open to productions of all the world.
An international breath that broadens the horizon of the new Italian cinema magazine without betraying its spirit: promoting innovation and formal and content research with particular attention - but not exclusively - for young authors and early works.
In the 2017 edition to chair the commission was Willem Dafoe, extraordinary performer of many cult films, from Platoon Oliver Stone to Spider-Man by Sam Raimi, passing through The Last Temptation of Christ by Martin Scorsese, Antichrist and Nymphomaniac of Lars Von Trier. The other jurors, all known professionals and experts of Italian and international cinema, were Vinicio Marchioni (actor, Romanzo criminale - the series, Il contagio) Fabio Guaglione and Fabio Resinaro (directors of Mine and authors of Ride, in theaters in September), Valentina Lodovini (actress, Montalbano, Benvenuti al Sud), Christian Halsey Solomon (producer of American Psycho, Fathers and daughters), Alessandro Usai (Ceo Colorado Film), Jacopo Chessa (director of the National Short Film Center).
