Two-time Oscar winner Paul Haggis is new President of Fabrique Awards!

Last year, with Willem Dafoe as President of the jury, Fabrique Awards had more than 1300 participants. This time, we’re going to live up to your high expectations. Ladies & gentlemen, we’re glad to announce the new President of Fabrique Awards fourth edition: two-time Oscar winner director and screenwriter Paul Haggis!

After a debut on the small screen, in 2004 Paul Haggis gained wide acclaim as screenwriter thanks to Million Dollar Baby, directed by Clint Eastwood. The real success came the following year, when he made his debut as director with Crash. The film was a box office hit and allowed its director to win two Academy Awards, as best film and best screenplay.

In more recent years, he directs In the Valley of Elah, SIGNIS prize at the Venice Film Festival, and collaborates as screenwriter in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, two fortunate episodes of the James Bond saga.
